Holidays are coming !!!

Good morning from a very wet cold and miserable Yorkshire.  Can you believe that it is November already !! Where has this year gone. I am so excited about Christmas this year as it will be in our new home and also because we have lots of new Christmas decorations. Have any of you ever cruised before for Christmas? I once got off the Oceana 16th December and they were just getting ready to put up all of the decorations and I could see the Giant trees that were ready to be brought on the boat in Southampton. I have it in good faith that Santa does visit every cruise ship and that everyone onboard is given a gift so don’t worry about missing the big guy he knows exactly where you are. In the winter months, all of the ships move to warmer waters so that you are guaranteed a bit of winter sunshine from the Canaries to the Far East there is an itinerary to suit everyone. If your not a fan of flying then sailing from Southampton will allow you to pack as many outfits and Christmas gifts onboard as you please. I have seen some wonderful photos over the years from guests that have shown how much the cruise companies like to celebrate from wonderful trimmings to sumptuous feasts and of course if your not a fan of a Christmas lunch there are plenty of other options and speciality restaurants that you can choose to dine instead. And of course what follows Christmas a New Year break instead for all you party animals that like to celebrate the New Year in style then a cruise is definitely the way to do it. New year celebrations onboard any ship always have a big celebration so whether you’re onboard with family or friends or on your own then you are sure to have a good evening with the big countdown and partying until the early hours.
