How do I find the time to work ?

Well it has been an extremely busy month for me and all I can say is thank god I can plan my own shifts in my job. I started the month off in Lanzarote for a quick week away which was supposed to be just me and my husband but my daughter ended up coming for a few days. We love Lanzarote we go to my parent’s apartment in Costa Teguise they have had it for about 30 years and we absolutely love going it is like a home from home.
As you know we work from home so sometimes we may never meet any of our colleagues face to face ever unless we get to go on a work trip, training day or our annual conference. Whilst I was in Lanzarote a colleague of mine, Renee was also on holiday with her family so we met up for the day and we had a lovely time.

After a week of rest and relaxation we had a lovely day out celebrating my best friends birthday at a restaurant and then we had a wonderful sunny day for a local party in the park, a great family day out with local bands and entertainment.

During the month we had my niece and nephew’s graduation so had a lovely meal celebrating their success.
Then the day I had been dreading really, my daughter turned 18. We had lots of nice things planned, well we did until I got deserted for eyebrows, eyelashes , make up etc…
She just managed to fit me in for her first legal cocktail but that was lovely!!
We had a small family meal at one of our favourite Italian restaurants when I say small there was 40 of us which is just our close family and extended family!!!

She had a great time and was well and truly spoiled.
We went from one family miletone to the next as the youngest member of my family, my great nephew/godson who became 1, I can’t believe its been a year since the little one was born. Then again where has the last 18 years gone ?

Before the month comes to an end I had 2 fabulous days away with my sisters. I am blessed to have 3 sisters who live nearby and we are all really close. We had a Spa break and was spoilt with afternoon tea a fabulous treatment and an overnight stay with a 3-course meal and obviously a great catch up !!!

I have also managed to fit in work and had an unbelievably busy month at work.
As you are reading this I will be just about to set off to take my dog on his holiday with our best friends and family to Cornwall where I hope to recover !!!
