Day 8/9 of My Holiday!! Day at Sea/Nassau, Bahamas!!

So, it was finally time for the last day of the cruise and the last day of the holiday. We both had a great time on MSC Seaside and were looking forward to having a fun day at Aquaadventure at Atlantis. You have to walk through the hotel to get to the waterpark and it is such a huge hotel, if you were looking to stay in the Bahamas this is definitely the hotel that you would want to choose. Before heading into the waterpark, we visited the aquarium, and there are lots of twisty tunnels and it is quite easy to get lost. So, ensure you remember the way you came.

I don’t have any pictures from within the waterpark as we had to keep our phones in the lockers for the duration. There are some fantastic water rides there and a great lazy/rapid river. We mostly stuck to the water rides that used the inflatable rings. Overall, the rides were really fun, even the one where you go through the shark tank.

After we were finished at the water park we headed back to the front of the hotel to hop on the transfer back to the local town near the port. They provided shuttles approximately every 30 mins from Atlantis. We did a bit of shopping before boarding the ship. If you’re a Pandora fan then I definitely recommend a trip to the Pandora store as they offer great duty-free pricing in dollars without any of the taxes. We even had time to get the obligatory photo with the Instagram frame.

Once we back on the ship we decided to dine at a speciality restaurant for our last dinner onboard the ship. We sat int eh Asian Fusion restaurant but we were lucky enough to be able to order from both the Asian Fusion menu and also the Butchers Cut menu. You can see the 3 courses that my friend and I ordered below in the photo. Due to the Asian vibe in the restaurant, the lights were red in colour, which made the photos very red. The food was absolutely amazing and there was such a great atmosphere in the restaurant. For the speciality restaurants onboard I would recommend booking at least 2 days in advance as they can get busy, especially towards the end of the cruise.
