Majestic Princess part 2

This week I want to tell you about a few more things that Majestic Princess had to offer. For anyone who has been on Royal or Regal Princess they will know that they have the “Sky Walk”. This is a glass walkway that is on the side of the ship that you can walk over and see everything below. This isn’t something I thought I would do as I as scared of heights and when you look down the sea looks miles below. I did sum up the courage though to do it even if it was only so I didn’t look daft in front of my colleagues!

Princess@Sea is also a facility they provide which gives you a FREE mobile friendly connection to the ships events and your account details. This was simple to use by turning your mobile phone to airplane mode and connecting to the ships Wi Fi. You could also view the ships itinerary and port guides from here and also learn about venue details, location and hours and menus for the restaurants. This of course is only Free for this facility but internet packages can be bought if you wish to browse the web.

Movies Under the Stars also features on Majestic Princess situated on deck 16 Midship. Here the latest films are screened and also music events and there is sometimes 3 screenings a day in the afternoon, early evening and then late evening so there’s no need to miss a showing . As this is on the open deck blankets are provided for the chilly evenings.

Afternoon Tea was also provided in one of the main dining rooms which we got to experience. This was a traditional afternoon tea served by white gloved waiters and waitresses where we were served a selection of sandwiches, cakes, pasties and scones which were all delicious and this was served with a choice of tea’s or coffee.

Although we were only on-board for 4 nights we got a chance to experience everything and I know now that I would love to do a Princess Cruise for my own holiday in the future. This weekend I am off on a Celebrity Cruise to the Fjords, another first for me as I have never sailed with Celebrity, so I will be able to write about that next time!
