Royal Take A Quantum Leap

It’s an exciting time for Royal Caribbean after announcing a new class of ships due to enter service in autumn 2014 and 2015.  The Quantum class is to be the latest class of ships and Royal are promising us that that the new ships Quantum Of The Seas and Anthem Of The Seas are going to make a huge impact on the cruising industry and we can be prepared to be wowed.  The design and ideas have been building up for three years and construction has finally begun with the first piece of steel being cut this week at the shipping yard in Germany.

At 158,000 tonnes the new Quantum class ships will be significantly smaller than the last two ships oasis and allure of the seas purposely as the line feels that they need a mix of sized ships to cater for all likes across the market.  The Quantum class ships will carry 4,100 passengers and they are promising it will be innovative and a unique design.  Information on exactly what to expect on-board at the moment is still very hush hush and over the next coming month’s things will be released in stages.
I love Royal Caribbean and can’t wait to see what the Quantum class will have to offer.  If the new ships that have been released over the past few years are anything to go by then they are going to be amazing but what’s left to add to make them stand out. I’m not sure but I can’t wait to find out and as soon as I do I will keep you posted.
