When the new Ncl Breakaway ship launches in May you sugar lovers will be pleased to know that there will be a Carlos Bake shop on board.  The cake shop will be located on deck 8 and will offer a la carted priced freshly baked cookies, cannoli’s, truffles, cakes and pies.  The shop will be operated by Buddy Valastro who Is the star of the TV shows “the cake boss” and the “Next Great Baker” and he will be including his famous Oreo, dark chocolate mousse and purple groovy fondant cakes.  The shop will be also offering guests the chance to pre order cakes for people who are celebrating a special birthday or anniversary on board.

For those of you who like to get involved then there is also an opportunity for you to attend special cupcake decorating classes and come home from your holiday with a new skill to show off to family and friends.  I personally think that this sounds fantastic and will be a really nice feature of the Breakaway.  With 4000 passengers on board Ncl have been thinking of new and unique things to offer guests and also has the exciting options on the waterfront- a quarter mile long outdoor boardwalk with eight al fresco dining venues and lounges.

Just make sure you take some stretchy waistband trousers with all this cake tasting and different choices of places to dine you will be spoilt for choice and won’t be able to resist – start the diet now I say and then you can indulge on board.  There’s always the gym if you get worried !!!
