Norwegian Epic to visit Southampton in 2015

Norwegian Cruise Lines have announced exciting news for 2015…the Norwegian Epic will add two sailings to and from Southampton. This will be the first time that she has visited Southampton since the inaugural celebrations in June 2010. I was lucky enough to be part of the Celebrations back in 2010 and I was more than impressed with the Norwegian Epic and what she had to offer.

The Norwegian Epic will sail one six and one seven night Iberian Peninsula itinerary.

The first sailing will be on 20 September when she will depart from Barcelona and arrive in Southampton on the 26 September. Ports of call will include Cartagena, Granada, Malaga and Lisbon.

Following a 15-night dry dock in France, she will then begin a seven night Iberian Peninsula itinerary from Southampton to Barcelona on 11 October. This sailing will include Vigo, Lisbon, Granada and Cartagena. will embark on a seven-night Iberian Peninsula cruise from Southampton to Barcelona on 11 October 2015.

Next year is going to bring some amazing ships to the UK and the Epic will not disappoint. So just what will the Epic be able to offer.

Dining on board brings some fantastic choices including a signature steakhouse..Cagneys’s , Japanese Teppanyaki, Brazilian Churrascaria and Italian.

Experience the Svedka Inniskillin Ice Bar, the first ever true ice bar at sea. The bar is around 17 degrees and holds around 20-25 people at a time.

Norwegian Epic features an Aqua Park with the first bowl slide at sea, sure to be a hit with the families.

Entertainment includes the Blue Man Group, performing for the very first time at sea, the Cirque Dreams & Dinner where you will be entertained with a theatrical dining experience.
