Have u ever gone through airport or port security. If so, u would not have needed to ask the question.

The knife would be in checked bags not accessible on a flight but would be accessible on a ship and no I haven’t gone thru port security- the reason I was hoping to get some help. Thanks for your reply .

Some years ago I took a multi tool in my suitcase on board P and O at Southampton with no problem. A fellow passenger who I chatted to did the same and his was spotted and confiscated for the duration of the cruise. I've never taken mine since.

You can take a knife, as long as the blade is no longer than 4 inches. (Cunard's FAQ section of their website has a full list of prohibited items.) .
