Thank Alan, will try my luck and try and get on as soon as possible. Can you tell me is the Casino was open during this cruise. I have seen posts on here saying that the casino doesn't open if the boat remains in British waters and did you enjoy this mini cruise. Any advice or tips would be appreciated, this is our first cruise and we are travelling with our 2 boys aged 12 and 9. Gail.

Hi Gail, Thanks for posting this question. I was just about to ask the same thing! We are travelling on the same cruise with our 11 year old daughter and 9 year old son. We are starting to get excited now! Best wishes, Samantha.

Hi Samantha, I know its school holidays but I was wondering how many children would be on board. We are travelling with our 2 boys aged 12 & 9 so maybe they might meet up in the Adventure Ocean club. Gail.

I too will be on this mini cruise. You can often get aboard much earlier than the advertised boarding time, just remember that you do not have an automatic right to board early. My advice would be to aim for boarding at noon which should allow enough time for ship Customs clearance and disembarkation of the previous trips passengers. Whatever you decide just make sure you are not LATE.

Iona- A little island, a Big ship.

By Trevor Smith

P&O have announced the name of their new ship for what will be their biggest vessell.Iona. Having Googled Iona the name is actually quite fitting. P&O as a company can trace their roots back to Scotland, and Iona is an island off the Scottish coast. You can see the sea from anywhere you are on the island, much the same as you can whilst on board a ship. The first, of many, bits of steel was cut on the 25th April this year and she is due to launch in May 2020. You can start to boo...

MY USA Trip Seattles Fo...

By Collette Apak

I was already loving the vibe of Seattle. Our first day packed so much in, but day 2 was set to involve one of my favourite things which is food.Small American breakfastWe had an early start (which was fine as the jetlag had me awake at 5am) and breakfast in the hotel set me up for another busy day. Our first tour was within walking distance of the hotel and was an underground history tour in Pioneer Square. Sawmills played a big part for Seattle as it became a very big player in the timber i...
