Cheers from Dublin

Last Sunday, we all headed to Bristol to join to board Cruise & Maritimes Marco Polo for our annual Cruise.co.uk conference. Every year is always lots of fun and again this year was no exception.

We embarked pretty early as the ship set sail at 12:30 so we spent the first morning in Conference before meeting for 18:00 dinner. By this time the weather was picking up and we were feeling it onboard. Luckily I don’t suffer from Seasickness, however, I felt terrible for my colleagues who were suffering. We had a table of 8 and 3 people had to leave dinner before we were even served mains.

After dinner those of us still on our feet, had a quick change into our fancy dress ready to hit the dance floor! Even though a lot of folks didn’t make it out of their cabins, those that did, did so in true cruise.co.uk  style. The outfits were both brilliant and hilarious. Mrs Browne was my personal favourite this year. We all had a wonderful time, drinking, laughing and dancing the night away.

On Monday we were up bright and early, ready for a morning of conf. We then had the afternoon to ourselves to explore  Dublin. Along with some colleagues I opted for the Guinness factory. I’ve been to Dublin a few times and never done the tour so I’m glad I did. I’m not a huge Guinness fan but the tour was interactive and very interesting.

Next stop was Bad bobs at Temple Bar to meet the rest of the gang for a fun night of drinking and dancing.

All in all, it was a great weekend and I’m very appreciative of everything cruise.co. does for us each year. It’s an absolute pleasure and privilege to work with such lovely & hysterical people!

To All Of My Clients may I wish you all a very Merry Christmas & A Happy & Prosperous New Year
