Indy – The Royal Way!!

So….as you may have read in one of my previous blogs, at our Christmas conference I won a 2 Night Cruise onboard Independence of the Seas after her refurbishment. Well, I finally got onboard on the 13th May. What an amazing 2 Night trip it was! With great entertainment throughout and great friends to share the experience with, who wouldn’t have a great time?!

Fun on Indy!!

Fun on Indy!!

Fun activities to do around the ship;

  • Splashaway Bay – a fun interactive splash area for children to play.
  • Perfect Storm – 2 great water slides that are three stories high.
  • Flowrider- Have you ever been surfing? If not, why don’t you try onboard? I didn’t try this whilst I was onboard but I will definitely have a go when I’m next onboard.
  • Sky Pad – This is a big dome on the top deck, inside are 4 bungee-trampolines and each person gets to wear a VR headset, then the experience begins. There are different programs such as competiting in zero gravity games to bouncing over clouds.
  • Climbing Wall – it wouldn’t be a Royal Caribbean ship without their signature climbing wall.
  • Ice Skating Rink – Here you can spend the day ice skating or play laser tag when the rink turns into a fun maze.
  • The Observatory – A fun escape room experience set in space. Do you think you can solve the puzzle?
