Hurry to Hong Kong – Ava’s Country Information!!

There is always some debate about whether Hong Kong is its own independent country but for the purpose of my blog…it is!! There is so much to see in Hong Kong. I have personally been 6 times, including staying there for 6 weeks back in 2013. I have seen mostly everything there is to see and there are so many Cruises that either visit Hong Kong for the day or that start or finish there. So this Blog will tell you my Top 4 sights to visit whilst you’re there.

Victoria Peak AKA The Peak

You can ride the Peak Tram up to The Peak and from the top, you have a 360-degree view of Hong Kong Island. The view is absolutely incredible. The Peak is easily accessible from the centre. You can get the MTR (underground), a bus or even the Hop On Hop Off bus. There are also some amazing restaurants at the top of the Peak from which you can see all of Hong Kong Island.

A Symphony of Lights from Victoria Harbour

A Symphony of Lights is a fantastic light show in Victoria Harbour. The show is really an amazing spectacle, the show includes a soundtrack performed by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and a light show consisting of many different lasers, searchlights and LED screens. You would definitely not want to miss this if you have a stay in Hong Kong.

Ocean Park

Ocean Park is a theme park with a twist. As well as amazing roller coasters and a cable car that goes over the whole park. The park is also home to lots of different animals that you are able to prebook encounters with such as dolphins and penguins. Overall, a day trip to Ocean Park is a fun day out for both adults and children. The Park is open from 10am-8pm daily and tickets are approximately from £47 per adult and £24 per child.
