Dymanic Quantum !!!!!!!

I think its safe to say, I loved my experience on the Brand new Royal Caribbean Quantum of the Seas. Over the past couple of weeks I have brought you all the highs and well there were no lows, but my last experience I want to tell you about was the new Dynamic dining concept.

So gone are the days with a main dining room with set dinner times, there are now a choice of 18 dining venues, 5 of which are your complimentary experiences which give you the power to choose your culinary delights. On top of the world of choices you will also benefit from no set dinner times and no required formal nights.

WHICH DID I CHOOSE??????

During the week running up to my trip I spent ages looking over  a selection of menus on offers so I was able to pre book the restaurants. All I can say after viewing these menus was I had wished I had more nights to choose from. The decision was hard but I finally got them down to 2 and I managed to get booked into American Icon and Chic for the second night.

My favourite was American Icon, for me  it had the full package, great choice of good traditional American comfort food, warm welcome and fantastic service.

My personal choice for starters was their signature Yankee Franks they were AMAZING!!!! I also really enjoyed the chicken in waffles, But the show stopping dish had to be my dessert “Icon Candy Bar” for anyone that is a Peanut Reeser fan this is a must and probably the best dessert I have ever had. Overall American Icon was a the right choice for me so much so we return the following morning for breakfast and we were treated to  the most delicious blueberry pancakes ever!!!

One of the best qualities I realised from American Icon was their service. Our waiter was fantastic attentive and nothing too much to ask. At the end of our dinner whilst talking to him and the restaurant managers we found that their staff throughout the ships impeccable service was down to the fact that each member had been hand picked for their individual service history. None of the staff on-board had  less than 2 seasons under theirs belts, They each have a proven track record for being fantastic, and not one applied for the Quantum they were assigned because of the high standards needed and you can really tell that they are proud to be part of the maiden season.

Our second night was spent in the contemporary  “CHIC” and once again was spoilt with professional cuisine to match the professional service. They boast that the freshest ingredients of the wild are evolved for a modern palate and they didn’t disappoint, all the food serve to us was like a little master place and looked as good as it tasted.

These two fabulous restaurants are just two of the venues you can experience, just to mention a few more.

WONDERLAND- Where  imagination brings to life a true feast for the senses, based on the secretive story of Alice in wonderland I found the décor fascinating in this venue.

Now I could probably fill my blog for the next 6 months with things I loved about the Quantum of the seas but the only way you are going to really find out everything about her is try it all for yourselves, so if over the last few weeks I have given you something to think about and you would like some more information, prices and available on board Quantum or her sister ship Anthem of the sea which is due to join the RCCL fleet in 2015 departing our very own SOUTHAMPTON for her first season, please do not hesitate to call me directly on 0330 303 8260 or email me at [email protected].

I will look forward to hearing from you soon
