In just under 2 weeks P&O will be opening up their reservation systems to their NEWEST and BIGGEST member of their fleet the Britannia, in preparation for her maiden voyage March 2015.

The Britannia will be the largest ship ever built for the British Market and will soon be available to book after 4 long years of planning.

SO WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE BRITANNIA?

She will carry 3, 647 passengers over 15 public deck, and will be a length of 1,082ft, and weigh 141,000 tons. Also The Britannia will see the world longest union jack adorned over the bow of the cruise lines fleet of 8 ships. Measuring 94 meters this move will make P&O ships more recognisable all over the world and celebrate their British heritage.

Its facilities are extensive, and include 13 food and dining outlets, 13 bars, four pools, a state-of-the-art theatre, a £1 million art collection, 1,837 cabins, children’s facilities and a sports arena.

CABINS

The cabin you will see are large, airy, modern and spacious. These boutique style cabins feature a large flat screen TV for films on demand, pamper packs from The White Company, bathrooms with glass shower screens as standard from Insides up. We believe that there won’t be outside cabins with portholes leaving more space for Balcony cabins. Also in response  to a increase to single occupancy requests there will be 15 single balcony cabins and 12 single inside which I am sure will book up fast.
