Cruise Virgin!!!!

Richard Bransons world domination continues with Trains, Planes, Holidays, TV, health clubs and even spaceships!!!!! Under the mega Virgin brand,  2019 looks to be a big year for Richard as he is reported to have plans to launch his very own Virgin Cruise line.

Its never been hard to see that Richard focus is on the travel industry and with the first in his Virgin-branded hotels opening in Chicago later this year, it really isn’t a surprise that cruising would be on his agenda.

Virgin has hired US-based corporate advisory firm Allen & Co to oversee the development of a cruise business aiming to compete in international waters against the likes of Carnival and Royal Caribbean. They will also be seeking to raise $1billion through investors and sales of assets to achieve this next step.

Ideally Virgin cruises will be based in the port Miami with  plans to build two new vessels to enter the traditional cruise markets in the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and potentially the Gulf region.

With the likes of Royal Caribbean, NCL and Carnival sharing 80% of todays cruising market Virgin have set their sights on the younger and Non cruising market with the new vessels offering modern and high tech entertainment and leisure facilities, which will complete with these giants of the cruising world.

What do you think of Virgins latest plans? Are you a fan of all that is Virgin?

I think this will be a great move. Virgin and Richard Branson clearly has a passion for the travel industry, whichy I find quite inspiring and I have never been disappointed by the brand whether its their airline, holidays, trains or even make up so I a pretty sure that he will put the same passion and energy into this new venture. It will be exciting to see what they come up with next.

GOOD LUCK VIRGIN!!!!!
