Internet charges at sea for Wi Fi

A question I get asked a lot is Do Cruise ships have Internet and how much is the charge? Well having done a bit of research into the ocean liners. It’s quite amazing how much the difference can be. Also the reviews on the speed are often not that great. I find it hard to believe in this modern world and with the technology we have that all liners can’t offer free Wi Fi for all guests and have a decent connection for speed like you could get at home. international roaming is expensive unless you have a call plan to cover international roaming. Everywhere you go, seems to have free Wi Fi. Pubs, cafe’s, Airports Mc Donalds so I personally think that the Cruise ships should invest heavily so all gueast aboard can enjoy

Up and down the country we have hot spots and now on some internal flights in the states you can get Wi Fi in the air so why not free at sea? We live in a world where nearly everyone uses the Internet, our computers, tablets mobile phones. It’s like an everyday must have. So I would like to see the ocean liners add this as standard. People do go away and have to take their laptops for work, well if I had to I’d love to sit on a balcony whilst at sea knowing I can work if I have to and keep in touch with the world back home. Now there are a few liners that do offer this service and that’s great, but i’d like to see the rest follow suit and advetise their cruise with Wi Fi as standard. So come on get this in place surely it can’t be too hard.
