1st Time for a P&O Ship

I have cruised several times, well about 8 times but never before on a P&O Ship. So now I’m booked to go on the Ventura on the 23^rd April I’m rather excited about it.

I have cruised with Thomson and I did think their food and service was just impeccable and although nowhere near as grand a ship as the Royal Caribbean ships I’ve been on, food and service was fantastic. The Celebrity Constellation was a nice ship too and my favourite will always be the Navigator of the seas. The Independence was just huge and having done a smaller Royal Caribbean ship recently the Majesty of the seas.

I’m really looking forward to experiencing the Ventura. I have always been a fan of the Americans and their ships. That said recently I was disappointed with the effort made by the Americans when it came to the formal night. Baseball caps and T-shirts wasn’t so formal for my liking. Us British I think take a bit more pride and effort into such occasions so this Cruise with P&O Ventura, I would imagine will feel more like formal evenings. Well let’s hope so because I don’t want to get my hopes up for nothing or I’ll be back here again soon!
