How you choose a Cruise

What do you take into consideration before booking a Cruise? I get asked a lot about the Ships, where they’re from and the nationality. I often here “Oh no I don’t want an Italian ship or an American ship” Does this come into your head when considering a Cruise?

I have to be honest I am pretty much like that. I really enjoyed P&O as I think us Brits do it best when it comes to making an effort for formal nights. But I also love the United States so I’m a big fan of the way the American’s do things.

Personally I don’t think I could see myself on an MSC or a Costa ship. I’ve heard they’re very glitzy glamorous but I just don’t think they’d be for me.

I think for the time being I will be sticking to both P&O & Royal Caribbean. Traditional British style and big on entertainment. That’ll do me just nicely. Have you experienced other Ocean Liners? Do you see a big difference between them and where they’re based is that a factor you also consider before booking your Cruise? I like seeing people make the effort for the dining and I do also love the entertainment so at present Royal Caribbena and P&O are for me.

I do get customers also who book purely for the itinerary. Would you cruise on any ship if it we’re going to the places you wanted, what’s the most important thing you consider when booking?
