Oops, I’ll have to delay New Year!

I like making New Year resolutions and trying to stick to them. Every year, I start mine on 5th January.

2015, I need to lose weight and exercise more! Unoriginal but much needed!!

1st January is not a good day to start New Year resolutions due to it being a day of nursing hangovers and getting together with family and friends and with the fridge full of tempting leftovers from the festive period.

Now I have a problem with this already as I am due to sail on Cruise and Maritime’s Marco Polo on 5th Jan 2015 and I know that I will be sampling some delicious cuisine. I will only be on board for a night with some of my colleagues and then fly home from Amsterdam but that gives me time for lunch, tea, dinner and breakfast so a few calories I’m sure!

Yes, there are healthy options available and a fitness centre and jogging track, but there are also bars and shows and comfy beds.

So….07.01.15 will be my new year and I look forward to reporting back on Marco Polo.
