This is the time of year when some names take on a whole new significance.

Are you Mary or Joseph or even Jesus, a very well used  name in Spain and South America. Maybe you are a Carol, Holly or Ivy. What about Gabriel, Emanuel, Eve, Noel, Joy or Rudolph???

From personal experience with two babies and a cat, naming has proved a difficult process.

We could of course follow the trend of the celebrities and make names up. We could just name the poor offspring after the place of conception as in the case of Brooklyn Beckham. There are after all, lots of people called Sydney, Georgia, Florence, Victoria or Virginia and also some called India, Paris, Madison, Orlando or Rio.

Above are the names of Royal Caribbean’s new babies. What are your thoughts? What’s your favourite ship’s name?

I’d love to hear what you think.
