8 Even More Sleeps…..

When did the expression start about the number of sleeps till something special? Even Leona Lewis is singing about it this year. Well I’ve jumped on the bandwagon so to speak and have decided to count my sleeps from the 25th December until the 2nd January, hence 8 even more sleeps.

It’s not that I don’t like Christmas, far from it and I was one of the Christmas jumper wearers at cruise.co.uk’s fabulous Christmas conference recently, so I’m no Bah Humbug.

The reason I am counting is because I have decided to make my New Year’s resolution now before I have either forgotten it or had a few too many tipples and mince pies to care.

I am going on a diet!! I am going to loose weight and exercise more in 2014. There I’ve said it. No going back now. I can now eat, drink and make merry knowing that I’m allowed, as the diet doesn’t start until the 2nd Jan.

Actually, as we always have an Italian Christmas, it’s more like…

This would be just one of about 5 starters in an 8 course meal which is all produced again for the second big blow-out on the 1st Jan so again there is great reasoning and planning for my 2nd January commitment and a lovely guilt-free Yuletide celebration for me.
