Will The Silver Muse Convince Me?

Silverseas are a very good luxury cruise line, however, in the past couple of years my own personal feeling is they have “rested on their laurels” a bit. There is so much competition in the luxury cruise market, with the likes of Regent Seven Seas and Seabourn to name a few. I think Silverseas now need to show you what they are all about.

The brand new ship, the Silver Muse will launch in 2017. I do have to admit this may be the ship which will bring Silverseas back to the fold as it where!

The ship will only take 596 guests with 411 crew, a fantastic ratio.  It is going to have 3 levels of balcony suites – classic, superior and deluxe. There will be more interconnecting suites, 72 in total which is great for a large group travelling and they will also have the Silver Suites which are 2 bedroom and all mid ship. Most  of the suites on board will have a balcony with only a few ocean views, these are reserved for wheelchair users, another great idea.

Dining on board you have a great choice. No main restaurant, however there are 8 different dining options for you including steak, Italian, tapas etc. There will be a great eating place called Hot Rocks which is on the pool deck, food served on volcanic hot plates!  I also like the sound of the cabaret club style too, eat your meal, stay at your table and enjoy the show.  All restaurants will need to be booked in advance of course just in case you miss out. Food wise, do not forget Silverseas are the only partner at sea with the renowned Relais & Chateaux.

The public areas sound good, observation lounge, panorama lounge, connoisseurs lounge which serves the finest cognac and whisky,  L’Opera (also known as the theatre) a fantastic 15 meter pool and sundeck along with the gym and spa area.

The first voyage is scheduled to depart from Monte Carlo in April 17, have you booked on her yet?
