Solo Travellers, You Are Not Alone!

How frustrating is it for you solo travellers? You decide where you want to go, and when, and then find you can’t get a single cabin and if you do the charge is virtually double the money a couple would pay.

Well, this may be what you are looking for. I see that Saga Cruises has just launched its third river cruise exclusively for solo passengers. Departing in March 2017 the Springtime Colours Of The Rhine is a seven night cruise which will sail from Arnhem in Holland down to Bonn in Germany.

So, what is actually included with them? Well, apart from your meals, which on this trip include 7 breakfasts, 6 lunches and 7 dinners, tips, a choice of wine, beer or soft drinks with lunch or dinner, a welcome cocktail party, 24 hour room service, and free wi fi on board.  Then there is of course the “solo hosts” who are on hand to make sure you have a really good time and not feeling a bit ill at ease.

Great choices for getting there too. You can either travel from St Pancras in London and take the train and ferry option or if you want to fly from your local airport you can depart from – Edinburgh, Birmingham, Bristol, Ebbsfleet, Norwich, Aberdeen, Gatwick, Newcastle or Manchester!  What a brilliant trip, and to top it all you get to be with like minded people and can depart I am sure, from very close to your home.

When you consider the other cruise options for a single person, you really do struggle with departures, price and availability. Why should a single person have to pay double the cost? You should not of course and as this is the 3rd cruise for single passengers it looks like a lot of people are booking. So, if your one of these “solo’s” who is looking for a lovely river cruise, but do not want to pay a premium charge, I would really take a look at what they have to offer.

Give me a call, I would love to help!
