Fed Up With Harmony Yet?

Nearly 4 times the size of Big Ben, 8 million pounds to build, takes 6000 passengers! By now I am sure you will have read all the news on this massive, amazing new ship. My colleagues have recently come back from a 2 night stay and tell me she is fantastic.

As you sit and read this with your cup of tea I will be on this ship, sampling all she has to offer.  I am on board for 3 nights and very much looking forward to seeing what she is all about. I have to be honest with you though, my feelings are she may be too big for my liking. I do prefer smaller ships with a more intimate feeling but then again how can I disregard the facilities on board?

She is a floating city is she not? I can not imagine what it will be like with 6000 passengers on the ship! As there are so many things to keep you entertained will you actually feel that there are this many people on board? Will there be spare sun beds in peak season?

I am 100% convinced that this ship will be fantastic for families from the small ones right through to teenagers, which lets face it are the most difficult to keep entertained.  There is a area called “kids avenue” which is a neighbourhood just for children! Then there are the numerous activities such as the water slides, mini water parks and how about the first hand painted carousel at sea?

What about us adults? Well apart from mini golf, zip lining, rock climbing, the Ultimate Abyss (tallest waterslide at sea if you did not know!), skydiving, surf on board. Then there are the shops, the bionic bar, casino, 23 swimming pools, spa area, over 20 dining venues, ice skating shows, aqua theatre shows, and Grease the show every evening! This ship really does have it all, it is like a mini resort at sea.

Will it be right for everyone? Does it have something even for the likes of me who likes a bit more intimacy on board? Will it suit the older generation? Is this ship really the ultimate  in a fun packed cruise? These are the areas I am going to find out about.

How exciting, I feel like a detective! More to follow!
