Have More Fun by Stopping Overnight.

Cruising is a fantastic way to see several destinations in the one holiday, however it is always a rush with the majority of ships arriving into port at breakfast time and  leaving late afternoon. By the time you’ve queued  to get off, orientated yourself on shore, had a mad dash around the major sites and a quick coffee or cocktail it is time to get back on board. It can all be quite exhausting.

Azamara Club Cruises recognise this and like to do things differently. They offer a much more relaxed solution and on many sailings offer at least one over night in port. This week they have held a press conference and announced even more. Larry Pimentel the president of Azamara Club Cruises reiterated their focus of ‘Stay Longer, Experience More’

Azamara now feature over 250 overnight or late stay (after 8pm) ports of call. It is at night that places  really come alive and this extra time gives you the chance to  experience your destination in a different way,  you can watch the sunset over the ocean, enjoy the fresh, local cuisine or dance the night away. The longer stays also allow for trips in land and away from the main port areas that other cruise lines just don’t allow.

Roughly 50% of Azamara’s ports now offer a longer stay.

On top  of this Azamara also include ‘AzAmazing Evenings’ in their itineraries. These are private, bespoke events for everyone on board and aim to fully immerse you in  the culture of the destination. Featured events include  a Maori performance at the Te Papa museum and acrobats in Monaco. They are one of a kind, complimentary events that you just wouldn’t get to experience with any one else.

Azamara Club Cruises offer fly cruises all around the world and  small ships that can get into more  unique ports of call. They are not that well known to the UK market but really are worth considering. If cruising to you, is all about experiencing new and wonderful places and losing yourself in the destination they are really worth considering.
