Changes to Vietnamese visa regulations

There is great news today for British passport holders who are travelling to Vietnam, with immediate effect people travelling for tourist  or business purposes and for 14 days or less can enter the country without applying for a visa.

Vietnam

If you are planning to revisit Vietnam within 30 days of your departure then you will still need to apply for a visa and you will require a multiple entry one.

If you do now qualify for visa free entry you just need to check that you have a full valid passport with at least 6 months validity left on it.

I believe this has been introduced in a bid to increase tourism within Vietnam and I’m sure it will help. Vietnam is a beautiful country and can be visited either as a part of an ocean cruise with many ships calling at Ho Chi Minh City or for a more in-depth view of the country you can cruise along the Mekong River.
