Birmingham Half Marathon

Well I thoought you’d like to know that I made it. I managed my 13.1 miles in 2 hours and 18 minutes which isn’t bad for a first timer.

The run itself wasn’t the most fun that I’ve ever had and I really struggled at the start to get into it but overall it was an amazing day. There were so many supporters cheering, and bands playing to keep us entertained that it really helped spur me along.

On top of this I knew that I was raising alot of money for a very good cause and my friends and family have helped me to raise nearly £500 for Sarcoma which I am really chuffed with it. Thank you to everyone who donated.

As you can see by the end of it I was a very happy girl and what’s more I have now finally stopped aching and am contemplating doing it all again next year.
