STUNNING MOSAICS

As mentioned in my previous Blog, this is the most incredible River Cruise Ship I have had the pleasure to go on. I touched on the stunning Sapphire Blue Chandelier last week,  She has the most impressive swimming pool adding the pool was a great challenge for the shipbuilders, the extra weight over the engines ! The pool is heated, has a depth of five feet, and has water juts allowing those who like to swim for exercise to do by the strong current. The pool is lined with blue tiles, she also has underwater music piped in !.  The whole area was surrounded by large windows on three of the sides and has a sun roof along with extremely comfy loungers. The aft wall of windows opened to the outside of the ship and the stunning views of the river scenery could be appreciated even more. The two back walls have mosaics on them which were done by the same artist who did the Versailles Restaurant.

L’ORANGERIE

The top deck of S.S.Antoinette on the sun deck again unlike all other River Ships she has a second dining area/lounge and it is called L’Orangerie, as with the majority of the ship is done in black & white and looks very seductive, with wicker furniture and was used for alternative dining. Also on this deck is the Bar Du Leopard with the dominating statue.

Cabins – S.S.Antoinette has 82 cabins and suites in total. All the cabins have very comfortable beds, I found to be very high but then again I am not on the tall side and found myself thinking (God I hope I don’t fall out its a long drop)….complete with flat-screen TV, marble bath with shower -again  the best looking bathroom ive seen, you also get the waffle bathrobes and slippers. The suites had additional things such as Butler Services and extra amenities.

A must for anyone who enjoys River sailings and pure luxury.
