All You Can Drink River -No Thanks

Up till now most River Cruise lines offered Beer, Wine & Soft Drinks with meal’s only on board,  But  a particular operator has announced a new policy of free unlimited Beer, Wine and premium drinks on some River Ships. I am absolutely horrified by  this idea it is not what River Cruising is supposed to be about. You can go on various Ocean going ships and drink till the cows come home if you wish and not get off at Brugges because you were too hung over – but not on the Rivers.

You go on a River Cruise to appreciate the Cities you are going through, to enjoy the sights & sounds of everyday life where there is something to see all day every day, The emphasis is on the culture and not “lets see how much we can down today”.

You will also be on a beutiful full ship which holds less than 200 people  on a much more personal & friendly basis, you will be seeing the same people each day and who will also be on the ship for the very same reason you are like minded people – to appreicaite The Danube, The Rhine,

I am so passionate about the culture and beauty of River Cruising, appreciate the outstanding sights such as Rudeshiem the history of Koblenz – its just not in the same league as days at sea on 3000 passenger Ocean Ships.
