Do you like the Opera?  Well I didn’t have any thoughts about it either way until recently. I had the pleasure of going on a Danube River Cruise  with some colleagues, and the trip  included the beautiful city of Vienna. Whilst we were there the company I was sailing with had an excursion  included -a trip to the Opera – The State Opera House. We had a guided tour of the beautiful house included along with a glass or two of Champagne, and we also had permission  to take a peek back stage.  We had  an English speaking guide a big help & the building was stunning.  I didn’t think I would take to the performance of KISS ME KATE but I can honestly say myself and colleagues loved it.

You may not be interested in Opera either but it really is worth a look it – you never know !!

Whilst on your River Cruise you will almost certainly get the opportunity to go and see an Opera indeed some may even include them in their excursion programme.
