Booking On Board is a Great Idea!

Being spontaneous isn’t something that many of us can afford to be these days, if you’re anything like me I seem to have less time and less money every day!

But when you are on your holiday it’s the perfect time to be impulsive and do something exciting!

Just the smell of the sea air on the balcony is enough to get me thinking about my next cruise experience, and makes me dread getting off!

So why not look at keeping the holiday going by getting your skates on and booking another cruise while you’re on board!

‘But Freddie….. You won’t be able to book the holiday for us, and you are such a wonderful guy and we love you so much’……. I hear you say……. (maybe I’m hearing some of that anyway)

But you would be wrong!

You can actually book with the cruise line, pay your deposit, and literally nominate me to handle the booking for you when you return.

So you can get the cruise you want, with all the benefits that you can squeeze out of the cruise line, as well as all the awesome Freddieorisation you have come to know and love!

All you have to do is tell the future sales agent you want me to handle the booking for you when you return, and you will reap the benefits of both booking on the ship, and retaining our personal service and aftercare, I might even throw in a little discount of my own!

So what benefits should you be looking out for when booking on board?

Well, the best thing to do is milk it for all it’s worth.

The cruise lines may feel that you are a captive audience when on board, but you don’t have to make it easy for them!

In this world of, ‘you don’t ask you don’t get’ it is no truer than here!

You should be asking questions about On Board Credit ,and Free Drinks offers, not to mention cabin upgrades as well.

At the end of the day, the cruise lines sales agents have targets to meet a well.

You would negotiate with me, so negotiate with them!

Once you are satisfied with your offer, you are best to place a deposit down and get your ideal cruise booked, then give me a call with your reference number when you get back and I will take over the booking and see what I can do in terms of improving the price where possible. This way any issues you have with the booking once made, you can deal directly with me, after all you may never see the sales agent on board ever again, and you certainly won’t be able to call them!

This way of booking makes all three parties lives very smooth and efficient, plus much more convenient for you to have a familiar point of contact. Plus 9 times out of 10 you end up with a better deal than what you would get back home.

Of course if you are not quite ready to book, most cruise lines now have a temporary booking procedure, for example Royal Caribbean’s ‘Open Passage or Voyage’ scheme.

This enables the bearer to put down a half deposit to keep the benefits of On Board Credit etc alive while they go home and choose the next cruise. Likewise with the confirmed booking, these open voyages can also be left open for you to nominate your travel agent, and most cruise lines will offer some variation of this program so keep your eyes open and check all your options on board ship.

Once you choose your cruise, get in touch with me and I can add the cruise to the reference number and once again handle the booking for you, again with any extras that I can muster (excuse the pun).

It’s a great way of keeping that holiday excitement alive, and gives you something amazing to look forward to!

I hope you have found this informative, but if you need any further detail please do not hesitate to call me directly!

As always thanks for reading and until next time………………..
