Fred Olsen Taster
So who has been on a Fred Olsen cruise? I have just been given the opportunity to travel on-board the Balmoral at the end of October for 4 nights. I have never traveled with Fred Olsen before so this will be a real TREAT for me. From what I’ve been told by various customers I will be experiencing fine dining, fabulous on-board entertainment and a chance to experience the on-board atmosphere.
I must say I am really looking forward to the opportunity to experience the the Fred Olsen cruise and atmosphere on-board. I know we all look forward to our cruise, however never cruised before with Fred Olsen will be an insight to help me give advise and experience to sell this cruise line to the full.
If anyone has cruised with Fred Olsen preferably on-board the Balmoral and would like to give any advise, please let me know, I will really appreciate it.

Balmoral is one of my favourite ships (the other being Aurora). Being a little smaller than many it feels more ‘homely’ and has more inside space for sitting reading or chatting when the weather isn’t so great. No magnificent atriums or rows of shopping arcades, just a nice ship. I feel the food is generally better than P&O and the staff seem more friendly too.
