Cruise and Maritime are adding a new ship to their fleet to join the much loved Marco Polo.
The premium 4 star Astor will join the company with the launch of an exciting twice yearly voyage service between the UK , Australia and South Africa.
A special brochure is being released later next month but full details of Astor and her programme can be found on our website . During the British winter months Astor will be cruising from Fremantle, Perth on a programme of local, Far East & Round Australia sailings.
Originally built for the five star market in 1987, the 20,606 ton Astor is a beautiful, contemporary ocean going liner with a proud heritage and a fine pedigree carrying just 600 guests. In 2010, she underwent a £14 million upgrade and refurbishment and offers a great opportunity to experience the bygone halcyon days of long distance sea travel on one a relaxing ocean voyage and the chance perhaps also to visit friends or relatives Down Under. This will provide the opportunity for passengers to travel to Australia who want to go at different times of the year to the traditonal World Cruise Season on the British Winter.
