It Can Still Pay To Book Early !

2014 seems a long way away, especially if you are thinking of booking a cruise and have recently seen all the ” Getaway” fares and deals on offer at the moment for cruises departing in the next couple of months. This is not always the case, there are a few brilliant deals around at the moment if you book well in advance and I do mean brilliant !

MSC cruises do several long repositioning cruises every autumn and spring. I have a client, a single traveller, who has been trying to book MSC Musica`s cruise from Buenos Aires to Dover since last September. The cruise had an excellent  deal available, with really good prices for sole occupancy cabins too.

The cruise  leaves Buenos Aires on 5th April this year arriving in Dover on 23rd April, the fare was £ 675 for sole occupancy of a category 3 inside cabin plus the flight costs of course. My client was undecided and did not book at the time, but then realised that it was a good deal and he wanted to go on the cruise. Unfortunately, by the time he had his holidays approved at work, the cruise was fully booked and I have been checking weekly to see if a cabin would become available with no luck.

An email arrived from MSC last week with their repositioning cruises for the autumn of 2013 and the  spring of 2014 and I immediately thought of my client, and what a bargain he has got!

MSC Poesia, one of the newer ships in their fleet, has the perfect sailing from Buenos Aires to Copenhagen on 21st April 2014, the cruise is 19 nights calling in at Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Lanzarote, Madeira, Vigo and Zeebrugge before arriving in Copenhagen on  10th May 2014.

Yes its transatlantic with a lot of sea days but the price is almost unbelievable! To book now, cruise only of course, the fare  is just £ 475! and there is NO SINGLE SUPPLEMENT !!! My client is delighted and this just goes to show that booking early can get you a really good deal as this offer will not stay around for long !
