New Seabourn Pursuit Design Details Revealed!

Fresh details of Seabourn’s new stunning ultra-luxury expedition ship, Seabourn Pursuit, have been revealed!

The luxury cruise ship, due to launch this August, will take passengers to one of the most remote corners of the world, Antarctica, this November until March 2024. It has been designed specifically to visit isolated, off-piste destinations in relaxing, carefully crafted surroundings.

“Seabourn Pursuit is our newest crown jewel, where guests will experience the perfect blend of ultra-luxury design combined with elevated expedition experiences.

While exploring remote locations around the world, our guests will immerse in a home-away-from-home designed with luxurious spaces in mind to reflect the natural beauty guests will experience aboard Seabourn Pursuit.

This state-of-the-art expedition ship is truly a celebration of the creative energy and input of our design collaborator, Tihany Design, and we are proud to welcome Seabourn Pursuit to our ultra-luxury fleet.”

Seabourn President, Natalya Leahy

Sister ship to Seabourn Venture, Seabourn Pursuit will be home to a number of custom-made pieces of furniture featuring state-of-the-art technology. Designed by Tihany Product Design and manufactured by Roda, the furniture collection on Seabourn Pursuit will be adorned throughout, from the ship’s oceanfront suites to its public areas.

Suites will feature digitally printed wall laminate, which intends to look like wood, heated floors with wood-look-inspired tiles, exposed rivets, bronze inlays, and beautiful furniture with wood frames. Duplex Wintergarden and Grand Wintergarden Suites have a sculptural staircase plus a tucked-away TV.

In the Discovery Centre, customised comfortable seating will match the space’s textured, liquid metal wall coverings. Elsewhere in the Expedition Lounge, two fireplaces will amaze guests with their lifelike water vapour flames, and in lounge Seabourn Square, guests can take a closer look at extraordinary scenes via a number of Swarovski telescopes.

Tiffany Design has also redesigned The Landing Zone, where guests can change for shore excursions, as a modern, plush area adorned with wood and metal details. Guests can get close to the water in the Bow Lounge, a comfortable area equipped with huge windows, ideal for watching wildlife in their natural habitat.

For even more expansive ocean views, guests can head to the Constellation Lounge for 270-degree views in a moody setting, as the lounge is decorated in red and dark blue colours with silver, bronze and stone detailing.

A quiet oasis of calm can be found in the ship’s spa and wellness areas, designed as a “floating forest” featuring live wood details and tree-inspired textured art murals. The fitness centre and yoga areas have floor-to-ceiling windows so that guests can enjoy a great view while working up a sweat!

Elsewhere onboard, The Restaurant will be a sleek and chic venue to indulge in some fine dining. The space will have leather wall panelling, geometric blue and purple carpets, custom-designed, burgundy leather chairs, and a bronze-framed glass wine display.

More casual eats can be sampled in the Colonnade dining space, which is heavily inspired by maritime design, featuring wood panels, decorative metal plates, wood floors, white stone buffet stations, and nautical knot art.

Alongside all these exquisite design details, guests on Seabourn Pursuit will be able to enjoy a number of exciting itineraries, plus the personalised service and excellent amenities which the luxury cruise line is known for, when the ship starts sailing this summer.
