Having to buy a new suitcase to bring back chocolate…..

I’ve only been back a few days and will do a proper write up in a few days but for now, we have to talk about MNSSHP – Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.

For anyone thinking of going, you must.  It’s on select nights at Magic Kingdom and you can bring back your own body weight in candy for a start but the atmosphere is just amazing and everyone had so much fun!  It’s not at all scary for the little ones (for the real fear factor, you need Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) at Universal Studios) – no children under the age of 12 tend to go to that one as they have chain saw wielding crazy people chasing you around. No thanks – I’d have nightmares for weeks!

But Halloween, Disney Style, is just magical. Everyone goes to a real effort to dress up and make it so much fun for the whole family.

Of course we had to get involved in the dressing up 🙂

This is our haul of ‘candy’ (mainly Mars branded chocolate bars and sweets – I love Mars chocolate so I’m happy!) They just keep telling you to go back for more!! Rafe with his, Aimee with hers and mine and Daves on the dining table.

We actually had to buy a new suitcase to bring it all home!!  We weighed it once we were home and it weighed 10 kilos!

Disney have treat stations set up around the park and they just keep loading your bags up with candy!  The also put on an awesome fireworks display that has a Halloween theme and change parts of the park and some of the rides to give them a Halloween feel.

I can highly recommend this event – the kids had a blast, we don’t need to buy any chocolate for the next year at least and I managed to walk off all that chocolate cake from Black Angus Steak House so everyone’s a winner (I also love Magic Kingdom so there’s that too).

We loved it so much, we’re going back in 2020!  Hurrah!

And just incase you missed it the first time, here’s that chocolate cake. Yes, I ate it all (over two days)
