Oasis Of The Seas Transformation

The famous Oasis Of The Seas who was at it’s day 10 years ago when launched, the biggest and most impressive ships ever built. Since then a lot happened and there are bigger and better ships around. However, the ship now, later this year is to undergo a massive $165 million transformation. The ship is doing Mediterranean itineraries until September and will then go into dry dock for 2 months for this big transformation. So what is going to change? At the pool deck they will be adding some  rides, among them the Ultimate Abyss which will be 10 storey high which will be the tallest dry slide at sea. Also there will be the perfect storm which is a trio of water slides which includes the Typhoon, Cyclone and Supercell slides, plus the Splashaway water park for the younger ones.The pool deck  will also be re-imagined in Caribbean style with comfy casitas, daybeds, hammocks and swing seats.Adventure Ocean, the line’s kids’ club, will be redesigned with areas organized by activity type with a specialized area for kids 3 to 5 years old. So what’s for the adults? They will add Karaoke to the nightlife on board plus an addition live music venue with pool tables that will be called the Music hall. Also the Bionic Bar which is already feature in the newer class ships will be added to the Oasis, plus there will be an addition dining venue, at The he Boardwalk  Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade,The bar guarantees 80 big-screen TVs, classic arcade games and a menu of pub favorites, making it an incredibly family-friendly venue.Another dining venue will be the Portside BBQ and near it there will be El Loco Fresh with Mexican dishes and it will be complementary for passengers. At the Boardwalk they will also add Sugar beach candy shop with 220-variety candy . What a shame I am going on it in July, just before the refit…..
