P&O Cruises

Over the years I’ve always heard really good reports on P&O ships especially the Britannia and what made them even better is that P&O started to listen to their customer’s and changed things where needed.

I’ve just had a customer that has just returned from the Britannia ship he’s been with many cruise lines and has been on the Britannia twice before this last time which would have made it his 3rd time on the ship, how different this experience was compared to his last two.

t started bad for him the moment he boarded the ship after waiting nearly two hours to get on the ship, he then got on and the computers was down so they couldn’t take any payments for the on board accounts (yes we all know that computers can go down so no fault of P&O’s) he said there was hardly any staff on board, the only people they saw was the maid and some staff in the restaurants. The food was awful, everything that was on the menu never came out to what was advertised if it looked like what it said then they gave you that instead of what it said.

The Entertainment wasn’t very good but when they did see a show they did say that it was good but there was hardly any shows on board. they said everything was so cut back that it was just a waste of money and with it being his partners first time on a cruise, he really wasn’t impressed at all and said that he’d stayed at better all-inclusive hotels then the luxury of a cruise ship.

like i said this customer has been on many cruises and I’ve been booking him for many many years and he’s never compliant once, it just sounded so horrendous  the whole experience that if i would have been on board i don’t think i would have ever returned to P&O or wanted to cruise again.
