Independence of the Seas Part 2

I hope you all enjoyed part 1 of my trip on the independence of the seas so here’s part 2 of my trip and lets here all about the clientele on board.

If you’d never been on a cruise before and you just wanted to go for a taster cruise just to see if you liked it, you would have never gone on another cruise again, it was full of stag and hen do’s, As someone said to me it was like Butlins at sea. Now this isn’t like cruise’s and as I said in part 1 the ship is amazing, the staff are so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, it really spoilt the experience. we were waiting up to 20-30mins to get a drink it was just so busy.

I would never go on a two night cruise one its too far to travel for me from Sheffield to Southampton and the other is that you just get settled and its time for you to leave, but it was a really nice to see what she had as her new features and it’s been a long time since I went on a Royal Caribbean cruise. I will certainly go back on her but for more nights and never a two-night cruise again.

Disembarking the cruise ship, this went really well for us not long to get off about 20 minutes which wasn’t bad, but we did find out after we’d left that all the systems on her went down and people were queuing for hours to  get off and get their bills sorted out at guest relations so I’m so glad we got off at the time we did.

My next Royal Caribbean cruise will be on the Rhapsody of the seas in October 2018 where I’m going away for a week with my partner and Daughter there both really looking forward to going on a cruise as this will be the first time on a cruise ship. I keep asking people who’ve been on the Rhapsody what they thought of her as I don’t want to be disappointed after just been on the independence, but people keep reassuring me that I won’t.
