P&O Trial All Inclusive Drinks Packages!

P&O has announced that from the 21st July 2018, they will be trailing an All Inclusive Drinks package exclusively on the Azura.

The package will only be trialled for a month to gauge how successful it does. If all goes well they will be potentially introducing the All Inclusive Drinks Packages right across the rest of the fleet.

The All Inclusive Drinks package cannot be purchased before you travel nor will it be available on your cruise personalises, this can only be purchased on board the ship.

The drinks package will cost you £39.95 per person per day, but if you are travelling with children P&O will include their drinks package for Free! Now that is a good deal!

The All Inclusive Drinks Package Includes :

  • An incredible array of beers, single measure spirits, cocktails and wines by the glass up to £6.95 as listed on our menus
  • Unlimited draft soft drinks, mocktails, primo Costa coffees, teapigs teas, hot chocolates and small bottled water (500ml only)
  • 20% discount on the following items: drinks above £6.95, bottles of wine, large bottles of water, canned and bottled soft drinks, juices and smoothies
  • Travelling with children 16 or under? We’ll include the Children’s drinks package at no extra cost!

As Always There Are Restrictions:

  • Each adult assigned to the same cabin must purchase the drinks package. Sharing of packages is not permitted.
  • Only available on cruises of five nights or more and must be purchased for every day of the cruise
  • Strictly non-refundable
  • Alcoholic drinks are limited to 15 beverages per 24-hour period (6 am to 6 am)
  • Only one drink at a time may be ordered (the minimum 15-minute wait between orders)
  • You must be over 18 (21 in USA waters)
  • All bottles and cans will be served open

This is a first for P&O, I have to be honest I was quite surprised to see they would be introducing any drinks packages on board. P&O drinks are cheap enough. Let’s hope this is not a bad thing, the last thing we all want to see is drunken Brits on board!

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think this is a good/bad move for P&O?
