Seaworld Orlando

During my holiday in Florida we had a day at Seaworld. For me it was my favourite day of the whole holiday.

There was so much for everyone to do and I would recommend to have two days there if possible.  We only had the one day at the park and missed things we had planned to see.

My partner went on a couple of the roller-coasters and he preferred those to a lot of the ones in Universal.

We decided to treat ourselves and pay for a penguin encounter. It included a tour of the penguins home and a lesson about the penguins which was very interesting. After that we got to meet some of the different penguins which was the real highlight. We were very lucky as there were only six of us, so we had lots of time with the penguins.

We also got to feed the sea lions and sting rays. You can pay about $5 for some food so it is good value for money to be able to do this.

There were plenty of different shows to watch such as the Dolphins and Orcas. We went to the Orca’s show and made the big mistake of siting in the splash zone and we got soaked but it was a lot of fun. We also went to a pet show which was brilliant. It included cats, dogs, ducks and even a pig, but what was really great is all the pets in the show are from rescue centres.

We paid for all inclusive drinks and food for the day. It cost around $35 each and it included a drink, entree and dessert every hour. For us it was great value for money as the drinks can cost  atleast $5 each and this way we could eat when we wanted too.

If you are planning to go to Florida, I would highly recommend spending time at Seaworld.
