ALL THE WORLDS A STAGE!

OH WHAT A NIGHT ………

Many people including myself enjoy having an evening at the theatre, whether it be to see a musical, west end production, musicians/recital, cabaret act, comedy act or a play.

Last weekend, myself and my family all went to Chichester Festival Theatre to watch the production Barnum. A Show about the greatest showman on earth, set in the years from 1835 – 1880 in America and major cities of the world where Barnum took his performing companies.

This production worked particularly well in the location, as the main theatre in Chichester is under renovation, so a temporary theatre in the park has been erected, The effect well it looks just like a big top tent which fitted this production well with the acrobatic displays and circus story.

On board a cruise the theatre is the main part of an evening on board, Many people will consider their dining times so they can see the show/performance taking place, and every
show on board is packed to the rafters with just standing room only as people like to get in early to ensure they get a seat. Most cruise lines will have 2 performances of an evening, offering those on early and late dining the chance to see the show.

Examples of some of the shows that can be seen whilst at sea are as follows:

NCL: Blue Man Group

Royal Caribbean:

Allure of the Seas: Chicago

Liberty of the Seas: Saturday night Fever

Oasis of the Seas: Hairspray

Cirque Do Soleil Style: P&O, MSC &  NCL

Strictly come Dancing: P&O

Dancing with the stars: Holland America

This is just a small selection as each ship will have its own productions, guest speakers, musicians, comedians and magicians

Have you seen any shows that was particularly good whilst on board or any that was dreadful  – I would love to hear your view.
