What A Lovely Seaview

MSC – always in the front their new ship Seaview is packed with the latest lot of innovations from a Slide-boarding flume to a spa treatment where you can get rubbed in wine…

Ship Shape. –

MSC Seaview

Built – 2018             Capacity -4132 – 5331

Class – Seaside

Decks – 20

A none – too – flattering Miami-Condo look on the outside hides a fabulously glitzy interior packed with restaurants, bars and activities for all ages – Seaview is going to be the first of 11 new ships on order, taking the cruise line right the way through to 2026!

The God Mother for MSC is the lovely Sophia Loren and she will be christening the ship,  I met her on the christening of the MSC Poesia, still very beautiful and very classy.

Almost three-quarters of the cabins on board Seaview are with balconies.

Seaview is seriously glitzy with sparkling Swarovski staircases, a stunning four- deck-high atrium with a stage above the bar for live bands and huge LED  screens that show everything from cityscapes to toothy sharks.

There’s a new fish restaurant, Ocean Cay, an Asian Market Kitchen (part Sushi, teppanyaki and part Asian.)

The play area is for babies  and children, as well as separate teen hangouts for ages 12-14 and 15-17-year-olds, they are really impressive, but I think youngsters will prefer zapping aliens in the 4D cinema, racing on an F1 simulator, sliding down the water slides in the jungle-themed adventure park or taking on the longest zip line at sea – 105m, about the same length as a football pitch… so ahead for heights is a must.

So what else is new? – the future for MSC
