Reach for the Sky

Hope this finds you all well? Here in Lancashire we have had a very wet spell, I can’t remember a day where we haven’t had rain but Sunshine is on the horizon!!. I was lucky enough to be asked if I wanted to fly out to Trieste and have a look around Princess’s latest edition “Sky Princess”, didn’t take to long for me to think about the answer I can tell you!. Tomorrow we fly out to Italy and I and several colleagues will be on board for a total of four nights sailing to Kotor and Athens. These events are very informative and gives an insight into a new product and ship to the market, I haven’t seen the new class and I am very much looking forward to joining the rest of the team to experience what will be an amazing time on board.

Sky Princess is the latest ship to launch from an already highly anticipated class, you may well remember Royal Princess on the television recently, Sky is identical with a few extra additions of which I will report back when I arrive back next week.

Highlights will include a multi-story, piazza-style atrium, specialty restaurants such as Crown Grill or Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria, the recreation area The Sanctuary and the open-air cinema Movies under the Stars.

A new highlight to feature on board these beautiful ships is the “Escape Room”, I have done an earlier post regarding this new activity if you wanted further information, I will endeavour to try this new feature and let you all know what its like.

There is also various lounges on board for you try including, Vista Lounge, Bellini’s, Churchills, Seaview Bar and Vines which is the Wine bar. Whether in the mood for a quiet pre- dinner drink or somewhere a bit more Swanky, there is always a venue to savour your favorite tipple in wonderful surroundings.
