Get your Multi Vitamins…. Vitamin D & Vitamin SEA…

I am taking my inspiration for today’s blog from a lovely walk I took last week… I am in the process of walking the South West Coast Path and am close to the conclusion of the Exmouth – Poole section (meant to be 102 miles – but we have had a few lengthy diversions !!).  I am generally a fair weather walker however as I need to schedule the days that I am available with my Mum, who I walk with – and has a busier social calendar than me, sometimes the weather can not be helped…

At the beginning of April I walked a section on probably the worst day of the month with gale force winds and torrential rain, this was followed by last week’s walk where the South West had it’s entire summer in the day and temperatures reached 25 degrees…

I had been suffering with a cold for a couple of days before and very nearly cancelled but decided to soldier on and I think the Sunshine provided all the Vitamin D required and the Sea air certainly gave me a great boost and I felt so much better after it.  This made me not only think about what a beautiful part of the country I am fortunate enough to live in but also the definite benefits of Cruising – Sunshine & Sea Air… so forget going to your local chemist for some multi-vitamin tablets and get yourself booked up on a Cruise and look forward to not only an amazing relaxing holiday but so many other benefits to your happiness levels..
