I'm not that surprised, we did a Koningsdam ship visit at Portland. I'm sure there is room for a few more if push cmes to shove.

During P&O’s 175th celebrations they had all seven (at the time) ships docked in Southampton.

Iona will not be joining them as she is in stuck in port at Eemshaven no more work being done at the moment, workers not working due to Coronavirus

We were on Oriana for the 175th Anniversary cruise. The worst weather for a sail away that we have every had. It was grey, freezing cold and very wet!! However, the sight of the 7 ships all berthed in Southampton before we boarded was great. Everyone was on deck for the sail away and frozen with umbrellas as it was raining, but determined to stay on deck to enjoy the spectacle. Cannot remember now but I seem to remember this was all in July when it was supposed to be Summer and nice weather.

I remember it well Delboy and that they used the Rose Bowl ax an extra check in facility. They arranged that as a one off though and didn't have other lines competing for berths as they are now.

We had Portland as a port of call on Brilliance in 2015.

I remember the seamen's strike of 1966. In those days cruise ships and merchant ships were crewed by British people. At Berth 101 in Southampton, and possibly others, ships were moored three abreast.
