Our Holiday to Egypt
For my regular followers you may have read my Blog recently about my fantastic trip with Hurtigruten, just 2 days before flying to Norway myself and my husband arrived back from 2 weeks in Sharm El Shiekh so to say I had a rush to wash and pack again was an understatement!
Anyway back to Egypt, I have travelled to Sharm el Shiekh numerous times before, always staying in different all inclusive properties, why so many times? Well Sharm is a great winter destination for a reasonable price and I have always found the hotels I have stayed in have also been great.
This time we stayed at the Tropicana Sea Beach Splash Resort, we have a friend working out in Sharm El Shiekh for the tour operator we travelled with so thanks to her pre calling the hotel we were allocated a beautiful sea/beach view room, large and spacious and even had a fruit bowl waiting for us! The hotel was fantastic with large pools, rather a little chilly mind! Brilliant food with 2 a la cartes on site and probably the best part of the holiday was the staff , we received fantastic service constantly with staff members remembering our names, favourite drinks and always having a smile on their face! Fantastic service always reminds me of cruising as some of the best service I have ever received has been aboard cruise ships!

The Red Sea is becoming more and more popular as a cruise destination with Thomson having the Celebration based from Sharm El Shiekh during the winter months and now MSC have announced they are also going to soon be featuring the Red Sea, I’m sure more cruise liners will join the band wagon soon too!
