Hard Rockin All Over The World

I’ve just returned from a superb cruise on Carnival Conquest, as per usual, Carnival performed superbly and we had a really fun-filled week.

I absolutely love Carnival, they are without a doubt the most relaxed cruise line I have been with, they really don’t care what you do as long as you are enjoying yourself. The ships are modern, high quality and the crew are genuinely there to make you feel like family. The food is also a huge highlight with Carnival, American of course, but with plenty of regional flavours to try. Escargot, frogs legs, ox tongue… yes, really!

The highlight for me is always Guy’s Burgers, spearheaded by American Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri. Total heart-stoppingly good burgers await with lashings of cheese, sweet BBQ sauce and pickles – yum! I had several.

However, away from the ship, I wanted to talk a little about Hard Rock Cafe. Only over the past 5 odd years have I been frequenting this lively eaterie all over the globe. New York, Orlando, Miami, London, The Cayman Islands…

For me, they are an affordable and high quality, perfect pit stop after a long flight to launch you straight into the American vibe before boarding a ship the next day. It’s not all burgers and fries! They have some superb Alaskan Salmon, Salads and lighter options… but for meat lovers like me, the blue cheese sliders and steak fajitas are a must-have. Dessert? Cinamon apple crumble with cream… to die for!

I’ve now made it a tradition to purchase a t-shirt from each city and Hard Rock I visit, as I’m sure many others do too!

Have you been to a Hard Rock? Are you a regular t-shirt buyer like me? Tell me all!

Happy Cruising!
