The MSC Experience

I am due to travel later this year on a cruise on-board the MSC Orchestra for 4 nights in September with my partner. Hopefully for that time of year it will still have a hot climate (fingers crossed).

MSC offer different cabin grades and experiences for each of their cruises and they differ with benefits depending on the type of experience you book which are as follows.

Bella experience cabins

These cabins are generally located in less desirable locations on the ship and maybe lower down on deck. These cabins are cheaper in price but restricts your flexibility with the cabin such as name changes and cabin numbers are confirmed when tickets are issued, meaning there is a chance you could be moved. Dining times are requested but not confirmed until tickets are issued..

Fantastica experience cabins

These cabins are located in a more desirable location on the ship and normally on higher decks. There is more flexibility with the cabin and you dining times can be changed after making your booking. Also, you will see more promotions such as free on-board credit or free drinks packages available on this experience.

Wellness experience cabins

Again, these cabin have the same benefits as the Fantasica experience however you will find more freedom of dining with a reserved area of the restaurant with anytime  my choice dining. Welcome wellness kit on arrival in your cabin and an array of wellness facilities and activities on-board.

Aurea experience cabins

All the above benefits along with free All Inclusive beverages, my choice anytime dining,  Spa package including a welcome cocktail, a massage of your choice from the spa menu, tanning shower, private wellness consultation and free access to the Thermal Area throughout your cruise along with private access to the solarium.

MSC Yacht Club experience cabins

This is the best experience MSC offers with an array of benefits including all of the above but also includes butler service, a dedicated concierge clerk along with priory embarkation, complimentary beverages selection from all bars and restaurants and your mini bar.Complimentary entry to the Thermal spa, 24 hours room service free of charge, All Inclusive lunches in the private MSC Yacht Club  restaurant.

MSC can offer inside, outside obstructed view, balcony and suite cabins along with super family connecting cabins which helps those families larger then your typical 2 point 4 children. I recently had customer customer come back from her cruise on-board the MSC Meraviglia for a family of 5 who had the super family connecting cabin and she advised it was the best type of cabin for her family and the price was pretty amazing too.

MSC seem to be gearing up to the UK market now as we are starting to see more cruises departing from Southampton and it is set to grow in the coming years with more ships out from the UK. With this is mind and the fact that they can cater for the larger family, I am sure we will start to see more UK guests returning to MSC cruises.
