Would you cruise with Cruise & Maritime…..

Many of you will of heard of them and some of you maybe not, i thought i’d share some information about the cruise line and a bit about what they offer.

Cruise and Maritime Voyages are a leading independent cruise line and operate from up to 16 ports throughout the UK. Over 40% of customers will travel with them again and again and this means they have 95% of guests that are satisfied and enjoy cruising with them.

There ships are more smaller and intimate and offer a leisurely and traditional home from home country house style of cruising and emphasis very much on personal service and going that extra mile for there clients. They offer very British and traditional style cruising with set dinning, fantastic food, formal nights and are generally adults only although they do offer some cruises for families in the school holidays. They are great for solo travelers and often have good discounts, the average age on board is usually around 60+ however this does differ from cruise to cruise. They offer a drinks package from as little as £17pp per day but if you not a big drinker and would prefer to pay for you drinks on board the price of the drinks are also very reasonable.

As they operate from sometimes 16 ports throughout the UK there really is something for everyone where ever you live, and takes out the hassle of having to travel to the usual ports like Southampton, Dover etc. Here is some examples of the ports they do – Bristol, Cardiff, Newcastle, Belfast, Greenock, Liverpool, Portsmouth and Rosyth. They offer a  range of cruises from 2 night mini breaks all the way to 121 nights world cruises! One of there best sellers is the British Isles cruise and this is extremely popular and so close to home.

They have 5 ships in total, the Marco Polo which is a well loved vessel, very traditional and carries around 800 passengers. Then there is the Astor which is the smallest of the ships which carries around 450 passengers, the Astoria is similar and will take around 550 passengers. Then we have the Magellan which is an ex Carnival ship, which offers some of the regional departures and they take around 1250 passengers. The biggest in the fleet is the Columbus which is an ex Ocean Village ship which takes around 1400 passengers and has a lot more facilities on board such as 5 dinning options, 7 lounges and bars and 2 swimming pools.

Have you sailed with Cruise and Maritime before? If not would you consider a cruise with them now? I ‘d love to hear your thoughts and if you would like to take a look at some of there offers i would be more than happy to help.
